Some Of The Places We Went...
The Snake Farm
-
a yearly stop on that one.
The first year we went they didn't have much more than a lot of snakes, a few
alligators/crocodiles and a very old ape (who I believe has since passed).
But over the years, like everything else, they have grown. The
snakes are still there of course (it IS called the Snake Farm after all), so are
the alligators/crocodiles....but now there are bats, all sorts of birds, cats,
monkeys and more! It's like a miniature version of the zoo!
Natural Bridge Wildlife Park and Caverns
-
these are really great!! The Wildlife Park is a
drive through park where you can feed the animals.
Ok.......... so you aren't supposed to HAND FEED them, only throw food out the
door, but tell some of those animals who are in your window that!!!!
A little hint for those who may be going for the first time..... ROLL UP THE
WINDOW WHEN THE OSTRICHES COME!!! Trust me, they may come to one side of
your truck/car, but they will reach all the way to the person on the opposite
side and they don't like to leave!! Hand feeding those buggars can
get painful! Throw and roll is my motto where they are concerned!
