Ridley's Believe It or Not Wax Museum -
This had more stuff in it than you would
think!! All sorts of stuff! My husband, son and myself loved
it, my daughter was in tears on half of it.
The wax figures of people gave her the creeps, the dark corridors with strange
sounds coming from them scared her. I won't even bother to say what
the horror section where you have to open all these different doors that has all
these creepy things in them did to her!

Aquarena Center -
Once known as Aquarena Springs in it's heyday it's now
reduced to a glass bottom boat tour, aquarium and wetlands
walk. It's still nice, we didn't get to go to the aquarium
unfortunately, but the glass bottom boat ride was good and the wetlands walk was
nice. Once upon a time this place was really something to see with so much
to see and do it was unreal. I miss the underwater shows and the swimming
pig LOL.
WonderWorld -
Now if you are ever in the San Marcos (Texas) area and
have young children, this is a must! If you like the Longhorn
Caverns and the Natural Bridge Caverns this is one for the kiddies!
This one you can touch everything in it! It's a short tour with a
guide telling comical stories.
Besides the Cave Tour there is also a Anti-Gravity House where you see water
running UPhill and a ball rolling UPhill instead of downhill, an
Observation Tower and a trainride through a small wildlife park where you get to
stop and hand feed the deer who come running up to the train and will stay there
until there is no more feed left to give them.
Then of course, let's not forget...... the souvenir shop! And a fantastic
one at that!

This was all the pics I could get as my batteries were biting the dust!
San Antonio Zoo -
I love this place! I just keeps getting
better! No pictures because I forgot to take my camera don't ya
know.
It was great as usual, they had a new animal there (one of several, but my fave)...2
Okapi's! Those are the neatest looking animals I've ever seen!
They also have a Lory Landing! This was great, we didn't want to leave it. It's this aviary filled with Lories! You can buy this little bitty cup of nectar for a dollar and the lories come and land on your shoulder, hand, anything they can stand on and drink the nectar from the cup. We were covered in lories! It was a blast! The zoo attendant had to shoo them off of us with his hat because even when the nectar was gone we always seemed to have at least one each on us that just didn't want to leave! Now of course we didn't mind, but the zoo just wouldn't let us take them home with us, so they had to get off.
